Ayr Wellness required over 5MW of power to run its recently-commissioned 80,000 sf Lakewood, NJ, cannabis growing facility. Utility power was not available within a reasonable timeframe, which prompted Ayr to find alternative solutions to the utility supply.

DME, in collaboration with Kinsley Energy and Aggrekko, engineered a temporary power solution consisting of (6) 1,300KW natural gas engines for a total installed capacity of 6.5MW. DME engineered the power distribution at the site, cable tray layouts, natural gas supply, and grounding.
