IPG’s utility service routinely suffers brownouts and short-duration outages, which cause sensitive electronic equipment on the manufacturing floor to stop and shut down production. These numerous resets result in time and monetary losses for IPG.

Seeking a long-term solution for these continuing power reliability issues, IPG engaged DME for the design of several UPS solutions supporting critical manufacturing processes across campus. The solutions included engineering over 2.0 megawatts of UPS capacity spread between Buildings 2, 5, and 7.
